Mrs. Melissa Tucker, 90, Dies at Neffsville Home
Mrs. Melissa Tucker died on Wednesday morning at 4 o'clock in the Neffsville Home. She was in her 90th year and died from the effects of a stroke. Most of her life was spent in Darlington, Harford county, but for two years she lived with her brother, Andrw Reynolds, of Christiana. From Christiana she went to live at the Neffsville Home, where she resided for the past five years. Her body was taken to the home of her brother, Andrew, on Wednesday. She was a member of the Society of Friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Hoopes, of Norristown; one son Ellis Tucker, of Baltimore, Maryland; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Brown, of Christiana, and Mrs. Hannah Carter, of Barnesville, Ohio, and two brothers, Andrew Reynolds, of Christiana, and Tyson Reynolds, of Liberty Grove. Brief funeral services will be held at the home of the home of her brother, Andrew, Broad street, Christiana, Saturday evening at 7 o'clock. Interment will be in the Darlington cemetery, Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock.
