Notables Attend Marriage of Kent Colwell and Bonar Law's Daughter

London, July 5 - Members of the diplomatic corps and of the nobility were among the 300 guests today at the marriage of Miss Catherine Law, daughter of the late Andrew Bonar Law, and Kent Galbraith Colwell of New York.
Colwell is a son of Capt. J. C. Colwell, U.S.N., retired, and teh present Mrs. Breckinridge Jones of St. Louis. He is a manger of the Bush House branch of the Guaranty Trust Company of New York.
The marriage, which was one of the leading social events of the season, was solemnized by Rev. Dr. Archibald Fleming at the St. Columbus Church of Scotland. The couple will sail from Southampton on Wednesday, aboard the Volendam for an extended stay in the United States.
Harrington Law, the bride's brother, acted as best man, while Lord Beaverbrook, her guardian, gave her away. A reception later was given by Lady Sykes of the town house of Lord Beaverbrook. Among the wedding guests were Ambassador and Mrs. Alanson B. Houghton, Miss Mathilda Houghton, the Earl and Countess of Birkenhead, Sir Austen and Lady Chamberlain, Lord and Lady Bigbee, Sir James Craig, Prime Minister of Northern Ireland, Maj. Gen. Sir William and Lady Furse and Viscount and Viscountess Fitz Allen.
