  [S1] Newspaper Clipping, 4 Jan 1943, Evening Sun. H.Y. Penniman Dies at 60 Insurance Executive Fails to Recover After Being Stricken at Office Harry Y. Penniman, life-insurance executive in charge of the Baltimore office of a Massachusetts company, died early yesterday at the Union Memorial Hospital. He was 60 years old. Mr. Penniman was stricken in his office two weeks ago. He had spent his entire business career in insurance, having been appointed head of the city office of his company two months. Chief Avocations His chief avocations were flower culture and hunting. Mr. Penniman was a lifelong Episcopalian. He lived at 702 St. George's road. Surviving are his widow, the former Miss Irene Wiegand; brothers, E. O.,Charles Douglas and George Nelson Penniman, and sisters, Mrs. Sallie Walton, and Mrs. Thmas J. Purvis. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11.30 .M. at the funeral home, North and Pennsylvania avenues. The Rev. Reginald Mallett, of Grace and St. Peter's Protestant Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Druid Ridge Cemetery.
