Ida W. Feidt, Williamsburg
Mrs. Ida Wootten Feidt, 89, of Williamsburg died Saturday on March 18, 2000, at Woodhaven Manor.
Born in Hampton the daughter of the late Stafford B. and Lavini aScott Wootten, she was a graduate of Hampton high School and Mary Washington College, with summer classes at tehCollege of William and Mary. Mrs. Feidt taught second grade at Wythe Elementary School in Hampton for 25 years. She was an active member of the Williamsburg Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday school and served as the circle chairwoman. Always activ ein the community, she had served as president of the Lioness Clubs in Hampton and Jamestown, president of the Mary Washington Alumni Association, president of the Taono Women's Club and region director of the Women of the Chapel, Verdun, France. She also volulnteered at her church and at Williamsburg Community Hospital.
The widow of Col. Gerald E. Feidt, she is survived by two daughters, Jack Dederick Neal of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Barbara F. Kelly of Denville, NJ; a duaghter-in=-law, Arlene S. Feidt of Cherry Hill, N.J.; and six gfrandchildren, Dorsey C. Pleasants III of Pompano Beach, Fla., Janet Lynn PLeasants of Boca Raton, Fla., Timothy Brock Neal of Medina, Ohio; Edgar L. "Skip" kelly of Marshalls Creek, Pa., Kimberly Dunphy of Cherry Hill, N.J. and Gerald Feidt III of Edgewater, Md. Four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by a son, Gerald E. Feidt, Jr.

Deaderck-Wootten
Mr. and MRs. Stafford Daily Wooteen of Victoria Avenue, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Ida Lavinia Wootten, to Carl Deaderick of Akron, O. The wedding took place in Richmond yesterday morning. The bride was attractively attired in an ensemble of brown flat crepe with accessoriies to correspond. Mrs. Deaderick is a graduate of the State Teachers' College in Fredericksburg and taught in Carson, Va. last winter.
