Daniel W. Hiester, Sr., 78
Services were arranged for Daniel Washington Hiester, formerly of Reading, who died August 1, 1993, in the Leader Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Spring Township, by the John P. Feeney Funeral Home, Inc.
Born in Heidelberd Twonship, he was a son of the late Adam R. and Ella (Weiherer) Hiestr.
He was co-owner of the former Hiester Driveway Service for 22 years before retiring in 1979.
Surving are two daughters, E. Helen Janet Keller and Marie E. Ohlinger, both of Fleetwood,; and a son, Daniel W., Jr., of Kent, England.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mildred E., widow of Charles Cronrath, Boyertown, and Helen, widow of Milton Ochs, Reading; and three brothers, Walter A., Aberdeen, Wash., Wellington A., Fleetwood, and Paul, Reading.
There are also seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
