Inez P. Campbell, 85, of Spring Garden Township, died at 6:10 p.m. Monday at her home, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late George J. Campbell Jr., former president of Campbell Chain Co.
The service will be 2 p.m. May 16 in John Calvin Memorial Chapel at First Presbyterian Church, 225 E. Market St., York. A private burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. The Baumeister, Orcutt and Small Mortuaries Inc., South Queen and East Jackson streets, York, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Campbell was born Sept. 7, 1909, in Philadelphia. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Inez (Cummings) Perpall.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Country Club of York and the Huntingdon Valley Garden Club of Rydal.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by a son, Peter Ridgway Cross of Blue Bell, Montgomery County; a daughter, Balene Cross McCormick of Sante Fe, N.M.; two stepsons, George J. Campbell III of San Francisco, Calif., and Henry Wilton Campbell of Maui, Hawaii; two stepdaughters, Lucinda C. Crocker of San Francisco, and Kate Wilton Fourchey of Fresno, Calif.; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary P. Budoni of Chestnut Hill.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Dr. J. Jey Deifell Jr.
