Pawling, 61, of Sinking Spring, R2, who died in Reading Hospital, was held Tuesday in the Gosnell Funeral Home, Shillington, the Rev. Charles D. Rabuck officiating. Burial was in Pleasant View cemetery. Born in onhton, a son of george and Rose (Bohler) Pawling, he was a member of Mohn's Memorial Evangelical Congregational Churcjh, Mohn's Hill. Prior to becoming ill several years, Mr. Pawling had been employed by the Industrial Hosiery Mills, Mohnton. His Wife, Ursula W. (Wietzel) died in 1951. He is survived by five sons: Charles of Ephrata; Luther, a machine erector for a local firm, temporarily residing in Ireland; Warren and and Forrest V., both of Spring Spring R2, and George E. of Monthon Also, 17 grnadchildren and three brothers: Arthur of Reading R2; Robert of Reading; and Fred of Safety Harbor, Fla.
