  [S1] Newspaper Clipping, 18 Oct 1918, Sykesville Post Dispatch. DuBois resident Dead Reuben H. Moore, one of the pioneer settlers of this section died at his home near Luthersburg on Monday evening at 6:30. Deceased was born in Centre county on March 7, 1831, the time of his death being more than 87 years of age, during which time he had always resided near the place of his decease. Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon with interment in the Luthersburg cemetery. Deceased had been the president of the DuBois National bank from 18095 until a few years ago when he was relieved on account of his age and a desire to be free from business cares. he is survived by four daughter and two sisters. Attorney Herbert A Moore and James Moore of Dubois and Wm. Fisher Moore on the homestead are some of his descendants.
