In the Name of God Amen, I, Daniel Nevin of Southampton Township in the County of Franklin and State of Pennsylvania, do by these present Make ordain and constitute this to be my last will and testament. Item, I leave and bequeath unto my well beloved wife Margaret Nevin all my real and personal Estate during her natural life and at her death to be disposed of as follows to wit. Item, to my eldest son John Nevin one dollar as I have given hm before what I allowed him. item, I give and bequeath unto my son David Nevin four hundred dollars to be raised out of my Estate if so much there may be. And lastly all the residue of my Estate that may remain, I allow to be equally divided amongst my four children Namely Davif Nevin my son and Elizabeth Pomeroy, Sarah Henderson and Mary Maclay Each and Equal shares of whatever the residue may be at my said wife's decease. And in fine i appoint and authorise and institute my tow sons John Nevin and David Nevin to be my Executors of this my last will and testament to execute the same as is therein mentioned in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirtieth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and nine, 1809 Daniel Nevin | ||

In presents of In Herron, Margaret Herron Franklin County On the fourteenth day of December one thousand eight hundred and twelve. John Herron, Esq., one of the Subscribing Witnesses to the foregoing instruments of writing appeared before me the subscriber Register for the probate of Wills and granting letters of Administration in and for Franklin county who being duly sworn deposeth and saith that he was personally present and saw and heard Daniel Nevin now dec'd, write his name unto, seal and publish the foregoing instrument of writing as and for his last will and testament and that at the time of doing thereof he the said deceased was of sound and disposing mind, memory, and understanding according to the best of his knowledge and belief and that his name thereto subscribed as a witness is of his own proper handwriting done at the same time, and that also saw Margaret Herron the other Witness sign her name at the same time. Sworn and subscribed before John Findlay, Reg. Franklin County On the fifteenth day of January one thousand and thirteen personally appeared before me Henry Reges Deputy Register for the probate of wills granting letter of Administration in and for said County, William Reynolds of Roxbury who upon his solemn oath duly administered did depose and say that he was well acquainted with the handwriting of Daniel Nevin late dec'd, that he frequently saw him write his name and that he verily beliefs the name "Daniel Nevin" subscribed to the foregoing will is the proper handwriting of the said Daniel nevin deceased further saith not.
