Nevin, 69, a retired Marine Corps major who served in both World Wars, died yesterday in the U. S. Naval Hospital at Philadelphia. He lived in New Hope, Bucks County. He was born in Easton, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David W. Nevin. His father wa a former Easton Mayor. Major Nevin was widely knwn as an artist and writer. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. FLorence M. Nevin; three children, John D. Nevin,f New Hope; Louis W. Nevin, Associated {res chief in Madrid, Spain, and Alice M. Nevin, New York.
