  [S1] Newspaper Clipping, 2 Feb 1878, Reading Times. Death of Luther T. M'Cord The friends of Luther T. McCord, printer, 310 South 6th street, will regret to hear of his untimely death, which occurred yesterday in the 33d year of his age. He was the son of Cyrus J. McCord, superintendent of iron mines, and served his apprenticeship in the office of the Berks and Schuylkill Journal some fifteen years ago. He was a good printer, an agreeable companion, and a staunch friend. His remains will be buried at Coventryville, Chester county, on Saturday next.
